Natural History Night Walk

As the sun sets the rainforest takes on a totally different vibe for the largest percentage of all wildlife in Costa Rica are mostly or exclusively active at night. This is the best time to find, observe and photograph beautiful tree frogs, including the Red Eye Tree Frog, shy snakes, colorful insects, mammals, sleeping daytime birds and other amazing creatures that only come out at night. Your visit to Costa Rica is not complete until you have experienced the rainforest at night.

You will be picked up at your hotel after dinner in our 4x4 vehicle and driven to a pristine river in the middle of the rainforest.

For approximately two hours our experienced guides will lead you under the cover of darkness in and along a slow-flowing creek, where the water will not be higher than your knees.

The beautiful symphony and magnificent diversity of the rivers on the Osa Peninsula at night is second to none and this expedition will be one of the highlights of your trip for sure.

Come travel with us as we unveil the natural history of all the wonderful animals and wildlife that have evolved in this unique ecosystem.
